One more culinary tourism in south path of Java. This
time I tried to eat Duck satay
residing in Tambak, Kecamatan
Sumpiuh, Central Java. It is locate in front of the local traditional market.
Among of many stalls, which is selling a variety of culinary dishes made from Duck, the satay stall is the best.

The texture of the
duck that is more tough than the chicken and with the savory taste and juicy of
melting duck fat make it very perfect if we enjoy the satay hot.
Not like ordinary
javanese satay which only served in a sauce, this satay has two sauce that we can choose what we like. Those are ketchup and nut sauce. We can choose the taste of our satay by mixing its sauce,
if you like sweet and spicy taste then fill your satay with only kechup and chili sauce or may be you like more savory taste you can prefer adding the nut sauce into the satay. The satay is also served with herbs called ‘lalapan’ which is contain slice
of cucumber, chilly, red onions, and tomatoes. Thus the saturate taste from the
duck fat can be refreshed by eating the lalapan.
Beside that, for this tasty menu we didnt need a lot money. Just spend Rp.15.000 from your pocket for the satay and Rp.2000 for the orange juice we can enjoy and filling our hunger deliciously... I guarantee...
